I do computer training and administrative services on the side in the state of Texas. I have a full-time job but this is my part-time thing. I understand that if I make over $400 in one year, which I will this year, I am required to pay taxes. I want to be able to spend some of the money but how do I know how much to set aside for taxes?
FYI - I am setup as a business. I have a Tax ID number and all checks are made payable to my company name, not me.
Also, I don't have any employees. It's just me. I do buy office supplies and equipment from time to time.

I have a day time job, and I am starting up an LLC.
I invested around $ 12K of income from my day job into the LLC.
It's a recording studio, so it's mostly software, recording equipment and musical instruments. My LLC only produced $25 of income in 2007.
Can I deduct the expenses, investments and inventory (1,000 Cds we haven't sold!) on the LLC from my individual income tax and get some of that money refunded ?
I'm also preparing my LLC's tax return, which of course doesn't own taxes yet.
