Are there any other options for getting out of a bad real estate investment?
Posted on Dec 29, 2008 under investment | 58 CommentsI purchased a land/home deal back in 1999. Everything was fine, I had intended to live there forever, until I married a man in the navy. Now, after renting out my home for 1 year, the person renting it (distant family member) has caused alot of destruction, which I cannot afford to repair. It is currently on the market, as a fixer upper, and after finally seeing images of the damage (I am on the opposit coast) I do not believe it will sell for the asking price, which only covers what I owe. Other than selling, are there any other options to get out from under what has become a financial drain? options that do not include bankruptcy or repo. we are going to take her to small claims to cover the cost of what we were able to repair.

Need a safe investment for 1 year. Ideas?
Posted on Dec 29, 2008 under investment | 102 CommentsA friend of my parents' is about to sell her apartment, which means that she is going to end up with a decent chunk of change. (about $120,000)
It’s going to be at least a year before she’ll be able to decide what to do with the money long-term. It’s basically all of her retirement money, so she can’t put it into the stock market or mutual funds just yet. I was thinking that she should dump it into a CD for a year. Do you think there is something more interesting out there that will be just as safe? Please let me know. Thanks!!
Paid Surveys for cash? No scams…?
Posted on Dec 29, 2008 under paid surveys | 115 CommentsOk, I am looking to start doing surveys for a little extra cash; but I'm tired of waiting all week just for ONE survey to come via e-mail for $2.00….
Are there any give surveys quick, or even have a list and you can do as many as you want?
And another thing, I need it to pay via check, no PayPal.
Thanks <3
Anyone know any good paid survey sites?
Posted on Dec 29, 2008 under paid surveys | 117 CommentsCan anyone help me out I've been looking for a legit site for a while. How long does it take for them to give you the money and how much money is each survey worth?
Is there any such thing as a paid survey for a 14yr. old?
Posted on Dec 29, 2008 under paid surveys | 76 CommentsI am a highly competent 14yr. old and I'd like a little extra money. I feel that if 18yr. olds can, by law, take paid surveys then so can I. Before you say that "kids" have to start from the bottom know only that I am a 9th grade high school student with all A averages in an all gifted schedule. Know also that I am taking college classes as well. I just though you should know that before you judge me by my age and by my "place" in society.
Thank you for any response you can give.
Alexa! I can't see your profile. If you could post the link to the site you're talking about it would be appreciated.
